Members benefit from a state of the art digital radio system maintained by a leading communications provider, for the purposes of detection and prevention of business crime and Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB).

There are currently over 250 radios in use across the day-time and night-time economies in Cardiff city centre. The Neighbourhood Policing Team, the City Centre Wardens, and the CCTV Control Room are among those connected via the Citynet radio system.

News and notifications relevant to CABC are circulated regularly via the cabc@forcardiff.com email account, as well as on FOR Cardiff social media accounts. 

We are working on rolling out a CABC-specific e-news, watch this space or contact us to register your interest.

The CABC Partnership is committed to sharing information, resources and best practice to improve the safety and security of Cardiff city centre. Training opportunities are being explored and information will be distributed to members when these are finalised.

Resources are currently available to download, and members can contact us with any questions and/or concerns.

We work alongside Cardiff Council, South Wales Police, British Transport Police and other influential partnership bodies around the city centre, you can find out more about our partners here.

CABC Partnership meetings take place quarterly; representatives from all our member businesses are welcome to attend for updates from the chair of the CABC board, as well as from partners such as FOR Cardiff, SWP and the City Centre Wardens. These meetings are also an opportunity for businesses to share their questions and concerns, and to share best practice for detecting and preventing business crime and ASB.

There are several other meetings under the umbrella of CABC, including the Radio Users' Group, Central Square Operations Meeting, and Emergency Response Planning. If you would like more information on any of these meetings, or to register your interest, please contact us.

The CABC partnership has been instrumental in delivering Purple Flag annual reaccreditation since 2017, demonstrating the safety and security of Cardiff city centre's night-time economy. The last reaccreditation was achieved in January 2025.
