Exclusion
scheme

Cardiff Against Business Crime and the embedded Business Crime Reduction Partnership has launched a business-related crime exclusion scheme, which aims to reduce the level of crime that impacts Cardiff businesses every day.

About the Scheme

Cardiff Against Business Crime (CABC) is over seen by a Board of Management with commitments from varying sectors and these include, The Licensees Forum, Hoteliers Association, St. David’s Shopping Centre, The Morgan Quarter, FOR Cardiff, City of Cardiff Council, Capitol Shopping Centre and multiple and independent businesses.

FOR Cardiff has employed a Business Crime Reduction Officer, Chloe Smith, to work with our Business Crime Reduction Manager Ian Tumelty to launch and maintain the exclusion scheme and following a meticulous planning and preparation process. This new scheme is now live.

To aid the new exclusion scheme an incident and intelligence sharing software, SentrySIS, has been introduced. The software comes highly recommended by other Business Improvement Districts, who alike, have introduced successful and thriving exclusion schemes to their cities.

If you are interested in joining CABC and taking part in the exclusion scheme (membership itself is free to FOR Cardiff levy payers) please email cabc@forcardiff.com or contact the office on 02922 672804.
